Tinkertown Museum will be open four days a week starting April 16 using a limited capacity, timed-entry reservation system. Our goal is to welcome you back in a COVID-safe environment.
Our Open Hours are Friday through Monday, 10AM to 4PM (last ticket sold is for entry at 3PM). Beginning April 9th at 12 Noon MDT you can purchase tickets for a group of up to 6 persons on this website through May 3 — just tap the Buy Tickets Online button.

Directions to Tinkertown
Tinkertown is located on the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway in Sandia Park on NM Highway 536, on the way to the Sandia Crest.
Take exit 175 North off I-40. After exiting I-40, take Highway 14 six miles up the mountain through Cedar Crest and turn left on Highway 536, the road to Sandia Crest.
Tinkertown is 1.5 miles on the left. Tinkertown is just 20 minutes from Albuquerque.
Hours & Admission
Tinkertown Museum is open for one-hour timed-entry visits starting April 16. Vists can be purchased anytime from this web site for time-slots on Friday through Monday, 10AM to 4PM, The last ticket available for purchase will be for a 3PM start-time.
Admission prices are Adults/Seniors, $6; Kids aged 4-16 years, $3, and are subject to change.
We are unable to offer group tours at this time.
Uneven and narrow walkways in Tinkertown Museum can be a challenge for those in a wheelchair or walker. For physically challenged individuals, handicapped parking is located next to the museum entrance, and for those in wheelchairs admission is FREE.
Dogs that are well-behaved and on-leash are permitted on the Museum grounds. No dogs are permitted in the Museum except for Service Animals as provided in state and federal regulations. Dogs whose sole function is to provide Comfort or Emotional Support are not by law classified as Service animals and are not permitted in the Museum. Thank you for your understanding.
