Tinkertown Museum Is Open For Our 39th Season!

Directions to Tinkertown
Tinkertown is located on the Turquoise Trail National Scenic Byway in Sandia Park on NM Highway 536, on the way to the Sandia Crest.
Take exit 175 North off I-40. After exiting I-40, take Highway 14 six miles up the mountain through Cedar Crest and turn left on Highway 536, the road to Sandia Crest.
Tinkertown is 1.5 miles on the left. Tinkertown is just 20 minutes from Albuquerque.
Hours & Admission
From April 1st to November 1st (2022), we’ll be open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday, including holidays, from 10am-4pm.
Our last admission ticket is sold at 3:30pm.
Admission is $6.00 for adults, $3.00 for kids 4-16.
We will be scheduling group tours after June 15, 2022. Please call (505) 281-5233 for a reservation.
Uneven and narrow walkways in Tinkertown Museum can be a challenge for those in a wheelchair or walker. For physically challenged individuals, handicapped parking is located next to the museum entrance, and for those in wheelchairs admission is FREE.
Dogs that are well-behaved and on-leash are permitted on the Museum grounds. No dogs are permitted in the Museum except for Service Animals as provided in state and federal regulations. Dogs whose sole function is to provide Comfort or Emotional Support are not by law classified as Service animals and are not permitted in the Museum. Thank you for your understanding.
